G’s No-Mayo Slaw


A quick and easy zesty side of crunchy goodness! This is a great compliment to salads, sandwiches, or even a makes a good little snack on its own.

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cooking Time: 0 mins | Serves: 2

Ingredients final

1 large carrot grated using a Julienne peeler

A handful of finely sliced red cabbage (not diced)

1 chopped spring onion

For the dressing:

1 teaspoon of yellow mustard

1 tablespoon of cyder vinegar

1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar

2 teaspoons of olive oil

A pinch of salt & black pepper

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

1 crushed garlic clove



Method final

  1. Begin by preparing your red cabbage and carrot on a chopping board. 601
  2. Place these ingredients into a salad bowl and sprinkle over the chopped spring onion.
  3. In another small bowl whisk together all the ingredients needed for the dressing, and drizzle this over the cabbage, carrot and spring onion.
  4. Serve on the side and enjoy!
